2023 SUMMER SCHOOL COURSE FEES
Procedures related to taking courses from the summer school:
1. Procedures to be taken by the students at our university who will take lessons from the summer school to be opened in our university:
Students who will take courses from the Summer School are required to complete their course registration by 17:30 on Friday, August 04, 2023, as of July 31, 2023. After this date, the systems will be closed, and course registration will not be possible. Summer school course registrations will be made after our students choose the courses opened in the summer school from OBISIS and deposit the fee generated in the system into the summer school account at the Halk Bank Erciyes University Branch.
2. Procedures to be taken by students from other universities to take lessons from the Summer School to be opened at our university:
In order for other university students to take courses from our university's summer school, they must first complete their course registration via the online system (http://obp.erciyes.edu.tr) until Friday, 04 August 2023, 14:00. After this date, the systems will be closed, and course registration will not be possible. Summer school course registrations will be made after the summer school fee resulted from the selected courses is deposited into the summer school account at the Erciyes University Branch of Halk Bank.
NOTE: Our students will follow the process of continuing the courses or being divided into groups in the faculty or department where the courses are opened.
3. To the attention of our students who will take courses from other universities in the 2022-2023 academic year summer school:
Students can take the courses offered in the summer school or in the summer term from 1 (one) university determined by the Senate of our University, with meeting the following criteria: courses to be taken in the outher universities must not opened at Erciyes University and do not exceed the limit of maximum 16 ECTS in a semester.
Students who will take summer school courses from other universities other than Erciyes University, they must fill out an online form on the Student Information System (OBISIS) and send it to the adaptation commission members for approval, starting from Monday, July 10 until Friday, August 04, 16:00 before going to summer school.
Since the adjustments will be made at the end of the summer school according to the aforementioned form, the students who take courses from the summer school without filling out the online form and sending it to the adaptation commission members for approval will not be adjusted.
Students who apply to take courses from the other university should notify the Student Affairs Department with a petition between 07-11 August 2023, in case the courses they will take from the other university are not offered. The courses that are not notified will be recorded in the system as fail, with a letter grade of "FF".
It is important that our students show sensitivity to the subject so that they do not become aggrieved.

IMPORTANT INFORMATIONS REGARDING THE SUMMER SCHOOL
1. Summer school eduction period is 7 weeks.
2. Courses will be held face-to-face between 07/08/2023 – 15/09/2023.
3. Taking courses in summer school is optional. Students can take couses in the summer school with a total of 25 ECTS provided that they first take courses they have to retake (All courses are included except 5-i courses offered by the Disctance Education Research and Application Center). The GPA requirement is not sought while determining the courses of the students who benefit from the summer school.
4. Students can take the courses offered in the summer school or in the summer term from 1 (one) university determined by the Senate of our University, with meeting the following criteria: courses to be taken in the outher universities must not opened at Erciyes University and do not exceed the limit of maximum 16 ECTS in a semester.
5. Add-drop cannot be made after the final registration.
6. A student can take a maximum of
from other universities until graduation.
7. Even if the student has attended the course during the semesters, he or she has to attend the courses in the summer school, and he or she is not exempted from attendance. In addition, if the student who continues the course in the summer school fails the course, he or she has to attend the courses that are not exempt from the course in the main semester.
8. The fees of the course/courses that have been canceled by our university in the summer school due to the reasons such as the missing of minimum number requirement for the opening of the summer school course/courses will be refunded. However, in case of cancellation of the course/courses, the right to choose a new course will not be given. (In case of a refund, you must enter the IBAN information of your own account in the IBAN information found in the update my information section of the http://obisis.erciyes.edu.tr system. Applications by hand will not be accepted.)
9. Students who choose a course to attend the Summer School and students who want to cancel their course/courses for any reason will not be refunded.
10. Regarding the overlap of the courses, students should contact the relevant units that offering the couse. The aforementioned course overlappings are not the responsibility of the Registrar's Office.
11. Students who take courses in the summer school cannot perform their summer internship simultaneously. (Except for the 5i courses offered by Distance Education)
12. Summer school fees must be deposited by using T.C. ID number. Absolutely no EFT or Money Order will be made.
* Courses cannot be added, changed or dropped after final enrollment in summer school.
