ERCIYES UNIVERSITY FACULTY OF ECONOMICS AND ADMINISTRATIVE SCIENCES
2022-2023 ACADEMIC YEAR SPRING SEMESTER - RULES TO BE APPLIED IN ONLINE EXAMS
1. During the spring semester, exams will be held with supervision via Zoom.
2. Zoom session informations regarding the exams has been shared via ERU FEAS Online Transactions System (http://iibf.erciyes.edu.tr/online). Students can log in the system by using their 10-digit student number and Turkish ID number as password. Students who cannot enter the system, can use their student number to log in.
3. Since students are only allowed to enter the exam on the designated exam room, they should consider the exam room information shared via ERU FEAS Online Transactions System. Otherwise, students will not be able to take the exams.
4. Students are required to enter the Zoom room by arranging their IDs as (STUDENT NO NAME SURNAME). (EXAMPLE: 1020117777 AYŞE TURAN).
5. Turning on the camera is mandatory for both the students and the supervisors.
6. Students are not allowed to turn off their cameras during the examination.
7. Students should have a working microphone, the supervisors may ask students to turn on their microphones when necessary.
8. It is forbidden to wear earphones during the exams.
9. Students must show their faces and student ID cards to the supervisors before the start of the exam. Those who do not have a student ID card can also show the printout of the student certificate downloaded from OBISIS. In this case, students must also present their official identity cards.
10. Students who take the exam have to write their names, surnames, student numbers and the name of the course they take the exam in the "chat" section after the identification process.
11. The exams will be recorded by supervisors.
12. During the multiple choice exams, students are only allowed to keep the exam screen open. Switching to another browser, opening a new tab or using any other programs (except Zoom) are going to be monitored and the exams of students who commit any of these actions will be deemed invalid.
13. Students have to make sure that devices (laptop/deskop computer, tablet, mobile phone, etc.) they wil use during the exam should meet the required standarts.
14. Students and supervisors are required to attend the exam session at least 15 minutes before the exam. Supervisors will take the students to the exam room one by one by checking the list of the exam room. Students who are not on the list will not be admitted to the room.
15. Students can enter the exam room only within the first five minutes after the exam start time. Students who want to connect after the first five minutes will not be admitted to the exam room. "ERUZEM exam system accepts the delay only within the first five minutes."
16. Students cannot close the Zoom session after. the end of the exam.
17. In classical exams, exam questions will be uploaded to ERUDM 5 minutes before the start of the exam and/or shared with the students by the exam supervisor. After downloading the exam questions, students are strictly forbidden to deal with the device they connect to the exam, except to read the questions (This article is only valid for classical exams).
18. In classical exams, the answers must be written on a blank A4 paper.
19. It is obligatory for the students to write down their name, surname, and student number and to number to each paper they used.
20. In classical exams, students hold the answer sheets to the screen with the permisson of the supervisors when students complete the exam.
21. When you complete the exam, the answers must be uploaded in pdf format, as a single file, to the relevant exam title in ERUDM, and sent to the instructor of the course by e-mail. You can use free pdf scanner applications for this (CamScanner, AdobeScan, TinyScanner etc.). It will be useful for you to try these applications before the exam in order to avoid any problems during the exam.
22. The file name of the exam answers (name of the final file) should be arranged as "Student number - Name Surname".
23. Once you have completed your exam, you must obtain approval from the supervisor to scan your answer sheet.
